Resume & CV Practice
Why does resume text deserve its own exercise?
A resume combines labeled fields like “Name:” and “Experience:” with date ranges and comma-separated lists. It reads more like structured data than a flowing sentence.
- Aim to move straight from a colon into the information that follows without pausing.
- Reinforce typing the dash in a year range (2021-2024) as a single motion.
How should you practice?
- Treat each field (“Name”, “Experience”, “Education”) as its own block and move between them without losing speed.
- Try to keep your rhythm steady through comma-separated skill lists.
- Practice typing date ranges in parentheses in one continuous breath.
